Macro Stones

I was given a Macro Lens for Christmas, obviously a while ago, but I finally made time to really play with it today.  I decided that I would simply photograph some stones I collected from my trip out west last year.  They're nothing fancy but it was fun to see what the lens was capable of.

 

This one I didn't edit, I simply like it the way it is.

 

This I did some editing to enhancing the colors really made this photo stand out that much more to me. Nothing that special otherwise but I do also like that the smallest of stones is in focus while everything else is a bit blurry.
