For my this week's class assignment we focused on macro. I've taken a lot of macro shots but never took many people macro shots. So here I experimented with my hand and tried to capture other close up of skin on my body. Not that easy. I ended up picking this shot of my palm because honestly I should get the right shot anywhere else. This would be much easier if I had a model to shoot. Then I wouldn't have to struggle as much.

Nice detail. The hands are probably the most interesting for all the whorls and such of skin there, though I've seen some cool macro shots of the skin around the eyes as well (particularly for those of us old enough to have lines there). What lens did you use?

I used my macro lens. To this kind of detail you have to use some kind of macro lens or attachment. Yeah, I was photographing when the boyfriend was at work. Should've waited until he got home, haha.
