Day 34; Although this picture is as I labeled it, forlorn, I also find it to really be beautiful. I think at times a certain amount of sadness can make something far more interesting than a bright vibrant picture. This photo evokes much more emotion than it would if it were simply taken in color.
The sepia tint here put it into a completely different direction. As I said, it takes it from a nice afternoon on the beach, to a scene that I imagine as a sad one. Maybe someone is visiting their parents favorite spot on the beach after that parent died. Or maybe it's a picture of a woman anxiously waiting for her lover to return safely home.
